The menu is rounded out with a clever array of shareable appetizers like soft, salty Pretzel Sticks served with house-made sauces, crispy Irish Nachos piled high with flavorful toppings, and the refreshingly crisp Kale Crunch Salad for a lighter bite. Bigham Tavern also features an inventive twist on traditional comfort food with items like their Tickled Pickles and Party Style Fruit Tray, which add a fresh, unexpected burst of flavor.
Complementing the hearty fare is an impressive draft beer selection that caters to a broad spectrum of tastes—offering local favorites like Four Seasons Local Pale Ale and Stone Scorpion Bowl IPA alongside unique seasonal blends such as the DESTIHL Wild Sour Series Piña Colada Gose. Whether you prefer the crisp refreshment of a Yuengling Lager or the hop-forward punch of Firestone Walker Union Jack IPA, there’s a brew here to pair perfectly with your meal.

I had been working in the cold for a few hours and needed somewhere to take a moment to warm up. While I was walking I noticed this beautiful restaurant and decided to stop in and see what it was about. Not only is the building gorgeous on the outside but the interior is also beautiful!! The staff were friendly and very accommodating. But most importantly they served me with fresh food and it was absolutely delicious. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!
Great new (to me) place discovered on Mnt. Washington. This place is way bigger than it looks from the outside and has al fresco dining. They have a huge selection of wings, and their menu is great. My partner ended up having the Turkey pesto press combo ( ½ sandwich and a side). I had the Cuban sandwich and homemade chips. We shared a brushetta made with toast tips, ricotta, and onion tomatoe basal relish drizzled with a balsamic reduction. Drinks were just Pepsi and an Iced tea. Great atmosphere, good vibe wait staff was excellent. Our meals were $38.00 + tip. One downside is parking. This is tucked into a neighborhood, but then again, it's part of the charm.
A Pittsburgh local recommended this spot. Food was super bomb, service was quick and bartenders were friendly. Low key mt wash vibe unlike downtown. I will definitely come back and recommend this place. wings, gravy fries, perogies, and cuban are all good.
The Bigham Tavern is a classic neighborhood bar and restaurant. They have great food and drinks, priced well so the place makes money and the customer still feels like they got a good deal. They both live and piped music as well as trivia, karaoke and other entertainment. There are so many different rooms and spaces at the BT you can find a little different feel in each place. The wings are some of the best in the city, but don't sleep on their burger, sandwiches or specialty items like pierogies. If you want a place to chill with friends, this is the spot for you to do it. There are literally no negatives.
Can’t believe I’ve been in pittsburgh for 7 years now and this was my first time at Bigham. We went for wing night and it was the perfect night: great atmosphere, service was phenomenal, and the wings were so good! You can’t beat the price and they have so many sauces to choose from! We loved the jackal, buffalo ranch, and the hot garlic-def our top 3 out of the 7 flavors we tried! Andrew was the bartender who took care of us and he was great (all the bartenders were) but he specifically was super friendly and never missed a beat. Also someone next to us got a burger and it looked so good. I would highly recommend giving them a shot. They also do lots of local events and host a trivia/bingo night each week! Very pleased with our visit and will most certainly be back!
A real locals hotspot. It was a cold day so we ordered two Irish coffees warm up a touch. They were great and topped with whipped cream. Ashley was spot on with excellent service. Their wing options are extensive. We ordered the black and gold and the Lou Q. The both have just the right amount of medium heat. The black and gold with peppery honey mustard (Steel town classic) lightly dipped in the ranch hits flawlessly. The Lou Q has a Big Easy blend of BBQ and Fiery Borboun that is unforgettable. Ashley made me a real nice smoky old fashioned with Blade and Bow bourbon. Their chilli is hearty and earthy we ordered it fully loaded. Fully loaded has sour cream, cheese, onion, jalapeño slices. Fantastic. We really enjoyed this spot. Highly recommend. Even if you walk here from the Duquesne incline like we did.
I've been coming to this bar for a while now. I really like the Yuengs & Wings on Wednesday. The bartenders are awesome, the drafts are always crisp, and the wings are always good. They make their own wing sauces. Very good and unique. Cluckin hot is my go-to and it never disappoints. Large cuts of carrots, word.
We met friends for dinner at Bigham Tavern. The service was excellent—very knowledgeable and attentive, but not rushed at all (shoutout to Luke). We ordered mostly pub-style food to share, and everything was delicious. For appetizers, we had the Tickled Pickles and the Hot Cheese Bites. We also tried two flavors of wings: Hyena, which had a garlicky buffalo flavor, and Tequila Lime. The wings were crispy, well-sauced, and very tasty. Lastly, we had the Smokehouse Mac, which was over-the-top delicious. They have a big beer selection too. We'll definitely be back!
